Beaches in Malgrat de Mar

Malgrat Centro beach (Malgrat de Mar)
Located in the center of Malgrat de Mar towards the sea, just in front of the promenade, Malgrat Centro beach is one of the quietest and most familiar beaches in the town, as well as being the most frequented beach by locals. It has the Blue Flag distinction, since it meets the required criteria of legality, accessibility, health, environmental education, cleanliness and safety.

La Conca beach (Malgrat de Mar)
To the north of Malgrat Centro beach, there is La Conca beach, the longest beach in Malgrat de Mar. It is a practically virgin beach, ideal for nature lovers, as it is one of the few points of contact between the rural space and the beaches of the province of Barcelona. It has a large area for dogs and another for practicing nudism on the athletics tracks.

Astillero beach (Malgrat de Mar)
In the hotel zone of the town, to the south of the Malgrat Centro beach, there is Astillero beach. It is a beach with a lot of atmosphere, surrounded by beach bars and picnic areas, among many other services. This beach has also been awarded the Blue Flag distinction.

Beaches in Santa Susanna
Santa Susanna has more than 2 kilometers of coarse sand beaches. One of its most popular beaches is the Llevant beach, located in front of the town's promenade, while the most charming beach in Santa Susanna is Les Caletes beach, made up of small coves separated by rocks. Nor can you miss Les Dunes beach, located in Santa Susanna’s Nautical Station.

Beaches in Blanes
A few kilometers from Malgrat de Mar is S’Abanell beach, popularly known as the big beach of Blanes. It is located on the right side of the rock of Sa Palomera, where the Costa Brava begins. It is one of the longest beaches on the coast of Girona, as it is approximately 2.4 kilometers long, and it can be easily accessed from the town center and the main tourist developments.
Blanes beach, on the left side of Sa Palomera, is considered the physical beginning of the Costa Brava. It is located in a clearly urban environment, in the center of the town of Blanes. It has many services that make it especially attractive for families. It has the Blue Flag badge.

Beaches in Costa Brava
While the Maresme coast is mostly made up of long, fine sandy beaches, the Costa Brava beaches boast rugged, rugged landscapes. If you want to explore the Costa Brava, you should check out the beaches of Port Pelegrí and Port Bo in Calella de Palafrugell; Platja Fonda and Playa de la Illa Roja in Begur; and Playa del Castell in Palamós.
